The Nigerian Army has announced a one million Naira cash reward for anyone with useful information that could lead to the rescue of its abducted officer, Colonel Samaila Inusa.

The reward was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Deputy Director, Army Public Relations Officer of One Division, Colonel Abdul Usman.

The army said it would give adequate protection to anyone who could provide the required information.

It further gave the assurance that such information would be treated with utmost confidentiality.

Colonel Inusa was whisked away in his Mercedes-Benz car by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers around Kamazo, along Kaduna Refinery Road, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Saturday night.
