PHOTOS: FG Delegation Visits Chibok to Mark 2nd Year of Chibok Girls Kidnap

Federal Government delegation and officials from Borno Government were at Chibok on Thursday to meet the parents of the 219 schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram from the community exactly two years ago today.

Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, Minister of Environment and leader of a Federal Government’s delegation, ‎Hajiya Amina Mohammed, Minister of State for Power, Works and Housing, Mustapha Baba Shehuri, a female Minister from Kaduna State, a founding member of the Bring Back Our Girls group and now Presidential Adviser on Social Protection, Mrs Maryam Uwais, another founding member of the BBOG, Hadiza Bala Usman, Senate Majority Leader, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, Senator Binta Mashi from Adamawa State.

The visitors covered by armed security escorts traveled by road from Maiduguri for about 3 and half hours, passing through horrible sights of communities attacked by Boko Haram along Maiduguri-Damboa to Chibok and returned by evening.

On the 3-hour road trip, they stopped often, to say hello to soldiers and Civilian JTF.
