INEC Chairman Makes New Appointments

Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, on Tuesday appointed Prof. Bolade Eyinla as Chief Technical Adviser, Prof. Mohammed Kuna, Special Assistant and Rotimi Oyekanmi, Chief Press Secretary.

The appointments, announced in the commission’s Bulletin, are to assist him in the effective execution of his mandate.

Eyinla, until now, was a Professor of History at the University of Ilorin and National Election Expert at the UNDP-DGD.

Kuna was a Professor of Political Sociology at the Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto.

The bulletin said Kuna served as an SA to the former Chairman of INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega, while Oyekanmi was a senior editorial staff of the Guardian newspaper.
