34 Ships With Petroleum Products, Foods Arrive Lagos Ports

Thirty-four ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods would arrive at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos between Tuesday and June 16.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – Shipping Position – a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos.

NPA explained that the expected vessels contained buck wheat, bulk sugar, general cargoes, diplomatic call, bulk gypsum, bulk salt, containers, bulk charcoal, frozen fish and petrol.

The publication also said that nine ships with petrol and crude palm olein had arrived at the ports, waiting to berth.

It stated that there were other ships currently at the ports discharging general cargoes, buck wheat, containers, bulk fertilizer, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar, bulk salt, bulk pet coke, base oil and petrol. (NAN)
