DR Congo’s Leopards maintained their unbeaten run in Group D with a commanding 3-0 win over Botswana’s Zebras at the Agdal Medina Stadium in Rabat. Nathanael Mbuku opened the scoring with a precise team goal in the 31st minute, followed by Gael Kakuta converting a penalty just before halftime.
The Leopards sealed the victory in the second half, leaving Botswana unable to respond.
The result cements DR Congo at the top of Group D as they head into the knockout stages, while Botswana ends their tournament still seeking their first win.
Both teams showcased tactical discipline, but the Leopards’ clinical finishing proved decisive.
