The Chief Executive Officer of MTN Nigeria, Karl Toriola, has applauded the Super Eagles for their commanding display at the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, describing the team’s unbeaten run as a reflection of Nigeria’s grit and collective spirit.

Okay News reports that speaking from MTN Nigeria’s headquarters in Lagos, Toriola praised the national team for sealing qualification to the Round of 16 with a perfect nine points from three matches, a rare achievement Nigeria has managed only a handful of times in AFCON history.

According to the MTN boss, the Super Eagles’ performance in Morocco underscored discipline, belief, and tactical maturity, qualities he said resonated deeply with Nigerians at home and abroad.

“The Super Eagles have shown incredible character and dominance on the continental stage,” Toriola said.
