Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, has left Nigeria for London, United Kingdom to visit her Husband, who has been on medical vacation since 7 May, 2017.

The First Lady, who departed for Britain on Sunday evening, is expected to stop over at Addis Ababa, to make a symbolic appearance at the meeting of the Organization of African First Ladies against HIV/AIDS (OAFLA) on Monday 3rd July, 2017.

She will continue her journey to the United Kingdom on Tuesday, 3rd July, 2017.

Mrs Aisha last visited President Buhari in London on May 30 and returned a week later, with reports the president is recovering fast and will soon return to the country.

President Buhari travelled to London in May for “medical follow-up,” his spokesperson Femi Adesina said.

Adesina, on his twitter handle, said the length of the president’s stay away is to be determined by his “London doctors.”

His last trip occured less than two months after the president also spent over 50 days in London on medical vacation.
