Aisha Alhassan has emerged as the governorship flag bearer for the United Development Party (UDP) following the party’s primaries which took place in Jalingo, Taraba State.

The minister of women affairs and social development was declared winner of the primaries by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Dr Olusegun Adeleye, on Tuesday after securing 246 votes.

okay.ng recalls that Aisha Alhassan resigned as minister of women affairs and social development after she was not cleared to contest for governorship election under APC.
