Hajiya Aisha Alhassan has joined United Democratic Party (UDP) following her resignation as Minister of Women Affairs after she dumped All Progressives Congress (APC), okay.ng understands.

Aisha Alhassan was disqualified All Progressives Congress (APC) from the primary slated for today, 29th September, 2018.

She made the announcement on Twitter, which Reads;

“I have officially JOINED my next POLITICAL PARTY with 7 state Assembly Members, all @APCNigeria executives from 169 wards of Taraba State. All 16 local Government exco’s of APC . All states executives of APC, we are now in UDP”

She also revealed that seven members of the state assembly, 169 ward executive and 16 local government exco and all state executive decamped with her to UDP.

okay.ng recalls that Aisha Alhassan was not cleared to contest for Taraba Governorship primaries.
