Aisha Buhari, Wife of the president, has returned to Nigeria after her medical trip abroad.

Okay Nigeria had earlier reported that the wife of the president stop campaigning with her husband due to her trip abroad for treatment.

A source at the presidency told TheCable that Aisha has not been seen campaigning “because she is ill”.

“For about two weeks now, you will observe that the president’s wife has not been campaigning. She is ill and she has traveled abroad for treatment,” he said.

However, On Sunday night at the presidential villa in Abuja, she held a meeting with the APC Women and Youths Presidential Campaign Team, which she said will operate as a sister body with necessary legwork and outreach and will mobilise women and youths across the country.

Her illness was kept away from the media as her office refused to comment on her whereabouts during the three-week absence.

Attached to this posts are photos of the meeting.
