Aminu Mohammed, a 500-level student of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, has apologised for criticising the First Lady, Aisha Buhari.

Mohammed had been arrested, arraigned and remanded before he was released on Friday night after Mrs Buhari withdrew the case against him.

He was released following the withdrawal of the case by the First Lady.

Speaking after regaining freedom, Aminu in a tweet on Saturday tendered an apology to the Wife of the President.

He said, “I would like to use this medium to express my sincere apologies to those I’ve hurt especially our mother, Aisha Buhari. It was never my intention to hurt your feelings and insha Allah I will change for the better. However, I’m also grateful for your forgiveness, thank u mama😊🤝.”
