Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic HND programmes. Admission forms are available for candidates willing to further after sucessful completion of their National Diploma (ND).

AKWA IBOM STATE POLYTECHNIC HND COURSES AVAILABLE

The following are the courses offered at Akwa Ibom State Poly at Higher National Diploma level. Also added below them are the admission requirements.

1. School of Applied Sciences

  • Computer Science
  • Statistics
  • Science Lab Technology with options in:
  • Chemistry
  • Bio-Chemistry
  • Physics/Electronics
  • Microbiology
  • Biology

Admission requirements

Here are the admission requirements for Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic School of Applied Sciences for the 2017/18 session;

1. For Computer Science, Statistics and Science Laboratory Technology with at least a Lower Credit pass at the National Diploma level with one year post qualification working experience.

2.  Candidates with pass level in National Diploma in Statistics or Computer Science or Science Laboratory Technology must have at least two years post qualification working experience.

2. School of Business and Management Studies

  • Accountancy
  • Business Administration
  • Office Technology and Management (formerly Secretarial Studies)

Admission requirements

Here are the admission requirements for Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic School of Business and Management Studies  for the 2017/2018 academic session;

1. For Accountancy, Business Administration and Office Technology and Management (Secretarial Studies) with at least a Lower Credit  Pass in national Diploma in Accountancy with one year post qualification working experience.

2. For Accountancy, Business Administration and Office Technology and Management (Secretarial Studies) with Pass in national Diploma in Accountancy with two year post qualification working experience.

3. School of Communication Arts

  • Mass Communication

Admission requirements

Below are the admission requirements for the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic School of Communication Arts

1.  Candidates for Mass Communication with at least a Lower Credit  Pass in national Diploma in Accountancy with one year post qualification working experience.

2. Candidates for Mass Communication with Pass in national Diploma in Accountancy with two year post qualification working experience.

HOW TO APPLY FOR AKWA IBOM STATE POLYTECHNIC HND ADMISSION FOR  2017/2018 ACADEMIC SESSION

Candidates should visit the School website http://www.akwaibompoly.edu.ng  click online Application, then generate an invoice with the following details.

  • Phone number and
  • Name

Candidates should go to under listed Banks with their invoice to purchase an electronic PIN and making payment of N 7,700 (SEVEN THOUSAND AND SEVEN HUNDRED NAIRA) and obtain a PIN (INCLUSIVE OF BANK AND OTHER CHARGES).

  • Zenith Bank
  • Diamond Bank

Application for Akwa Ibom Polytechnic HND admission should therefore be completed by visiting www.akwaibompoly.edu.ng with the obtained pin to complete the application with the following steps described below:

Highlight “Admissions” and select “Application Forms” then select your choice of programme and insert the obtained PIN (Confirmation Order) in the appropriate form to complete the application.

HND Candidates are to:

1.      Attach 1 year Industrial Attachment Letter.

2.      Official ND Transcript to be sent to the Registrar.

APPLICATION CLOSING DATE – 2017

All applications for HND admission at Akwa Ibom State Poly MUST be concluded on or before Monday, 19Th of August, 2017 (deadline). Applicants can start and complete this process anywhere in the country.

APTITUDE TEST: All shortlisted students will be published online and will write an aptitude test on Saturday 2nd of September 2017.
