Algeria beat Nigeria 2-1 to qualify for AFCON 2019 final

Algeria has qualified for the final of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

The team defeated Nigeria in the semi-finals after the game ended 2-1 on Sunday.

Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong scored an own goal before Odion Ighalo leveled up through penalty.

However, Manchester City winger, Riyad Mahrez scored through free kick as Algeria book their place in the final.

Nigeria will play against Tunisia, as both Nations battle for the third spot.

While Algeria will play against Senegal for the final of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
