Ambode’s words as Buhari commissions new Ayinke House in Lagos

Governor Akinwumni Ambode has restated the state’s commitment to provide good healthcare for Lagosians.

The governor made this statement on Wednesday as President Muhammadu Buhari commissioned the Institute of Maternal and Child Health (Ayinke House) located within the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.

Ambode while speaking during commissioning said:

“Just last year, we launched the Lagos State Health Insurance Scheme to allow residents access top quality medical care with a little contribution and support from the State government.

“These and other efforts are directed at improving the lives of our people, especially the women and children; and by extension the productivity of our nation.”

Ambode with other dignitaries received President Muhammadu Buhari as he landed at the at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.
