I believe Canada Will really love this Service and can not wait for it to be Launched, Earlier, It was announced and also confirmed by Google that Android Pay will soon be launched in 5 more countries, including Russia and Canada, in which in that line the Russian launch happened earlier this week. And now, we have an expected launch date for Canada as well.
Android Pay is a digital wallet platform developed by Google to power in-app and tap-to-pay purchases on mobile devices, enabling users to make payments with Android phones, tablets or watches. Android Pay uses near field communication (NFC) to transmit card information facilitating funds transfer to the retailer. It replaces the credit or debit card chip and PIN or magnetic stripe transaction at point-of-sale terminals by allowing the user to upload these in the Android Pay wallet. It is similar to contactless payments already used in many countries, with the addition of two-factor authentication.

In United Kingdom (U.K) It was Reported that Google’s mobile payments service will be officially launched there on May 31. The report in question cites sources with access to internal documents on the matter.  the documents that have the record does say the service will work with “major credit and debit cards in Canada,” and that it can be used “anywhere contactless is accepted.” Also, all NFC-compatible devices running Android KitKat 4.4 and above will be compatible.
