British-Nigerian heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua has shared an emotional message mourning his brothers, Latz and Sina, in a heartfelt Instagram post that has drawn widespread reactions from fans and fellow athletes. Okay News reports.
In the post shared on his verified Instagram page, Joshua expressed gratitude to the public for the support shown to his family, while reflecting on the impact his brothers had on his life. He wrote, “Thank you for all the love and care you have shown my brothers. I didn’t even realise how special they are.”
Joshua said he often spent ordinary moments with them without fully understanding the value of their presence. “I’ll just be walking with them and cracking jokes with them, not even knowing God kept me in the presence of great men,” he stated.
The former two-time world heavyweight champion admitted the situation has been emotionally difficult for him but acknowledged that the pain is heavier for their parents. “100% it’s tough for me, but I know it’s even tougher for their parents,” he wrote.
Despite the grief, Joshua said he is drawing strength from faith, noting, “I have a strong mind, and I believe God knows their hearts.” He concluded the message with a prayer, saying, “May God have mercy on my brothers.”
