UN General Assembly has elected Antonio Guterres as the new Secretary-General.

Guterres will succeed Banki-moon as the UN secretary.

António Manuel de Oliveira Guterres, GCL GCC is a Portuguese politician and diplomat who is the designate Secretary-General of the United Nations. Guterres was Prime Minister of Portugal from 1995 to 2002.
