Eke-Idika-APC-PDP

The Abia State Deputy-Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Eke Idika has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Idika dumped the APC on Thursday, March 5, during a rally in Umuahia, the state capital.

“I decided to drop the broom because the broom does not sweep well; vacuum cleaner sweeps better. If we need change it must be the right change not just any change,” he said at a rally attended by First Lady, Patience Jonathan.

Idika also added that he had made the decision out of a realization that the PDP had a better agenda for the country.

Mrs. Jonathan used the opportunity to solicit votes for her husband saying that he would do more for the country if re-elected.
