ABUJA, Nigeria — The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports claiming that the party has released the list of successful candidates from its recently concluded primaries, describing such publications as false and unauthorized.
Okay News reports that the ruling party urged members, stakeholders and the general public to disregard any circulating list or announcement purporting to contain the outcome of the primaries. The APC stressed that no official list of successful candidates has been released through its approved communication channels.
In a statement signed by APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, the party said successful candidates would be formally notified through official party channels before Certificates of Return are issued in line with established procedures. The APC further advised the public to rely only on verified communications from the party regarding the outcome of the primaries.
