The All Progressives Congress secretariat in Ngo community, Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State was bombed barely five days after the one in Okrika Local Government Area was bombed.
The incident is said to have occurred at about 3.14am, destroying the building in a loud, deafening explosion.
The police spokesperson, Mr. Ahmad Mohammad, confirmed the incident, but said details were still sketchy.
The Ward 1 Chairman of APC in the area, Mr. Amos Gogo Amos, said the attack on the secretariat in Andoni was similar to that of Sunday’s incident in Okrika Local Government Area. Amos said, “We are calling on the government to come to our aid as we are no longer safe in the community. Anything can happen in the night. The building was badly damaged.”
