Victor Giadom, who declared himself acting national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has cancelled the screening for the Edo State governorship primary.
Giadom ordered the cancellation of all the activities concerning the screening of the aspirants after taking over as national chairman of the party on Wednesday.
According to him, a previous court order had empowered him to do so and he has the backing of the members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
He also ordered that the aspirants would be rescreened, announcing that each aspirant will be informed of when to appear for the process.
