However, international rollout for the updated assistant faces substantial regulatory headwinds. Apple confirmed that Siri AI will not be initially available on iPhones or iPads within the European Union, and will be barred entirely from the Chinese market as the company maneuvers through complex local data-compliance and AI sovereignty frameworks.
