The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum has lifted the October 1 eviction ultimatum it handed Igbos living in the region.

This was announced on Thursday in Abuja after a meeting between members of the coalition and concerned stakeholders.

Present at the meeting were the governor of Borno state, Kashim Shettima, some Igbo traditional rulers and Northern elders.
