US singer Ariana Grande and her ex-husband, Dalton Gomez, have officially concluded their divorce proceedings after nearly three years of marriage.

Grande, 30, filed for divorce in 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences”. On Tuesday, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted the divorce, bringing closure to their relationship.

The couple, who had separated earlier in 2023, had a prenuptial agreement in place, and with no children together, the process was relatively swift and devoid of major legal disputes.

According to the Associated Press, the terms of the settlement, agreed upon in October, included a one-time payment of $1.25 million from Grande to Gomez, with no provision for future alimony. Additionally, Grande will receive half the proceeds from the eventual sale of their Los Angeles home and contribute up to $25,000 towards Gomez’s attorney fees.

Grande, known for her chart-topping hits and impressive vocal range, has an estimated net worth of $240 million.

The couple’s relationship began in January 2020, and they famously quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic. They made a public appearance together in the video for Justin Bieber’s charity single ‘Stuck With U’ in May of that year.

By December, they were engaged, and the following May, in 2021, they exchanged vows in marriage.

Despite the end of her marriage, Grande remains focused on her career. She recently released her seventh studio album titled ‘Eternal Sunshine’ and has an upcoming project lined up. Grande will be portraying the good witch Glinda alongside Cynthia Erivo in the two-part film adaptation of the stage musical ‘Wicked’, scheduled for release in November.
