The Katsina police command has confirmed an attack by armed bandits which claimed 10 persons at Gobirawa and Sabawa villages in Safana Local Government Area of the state.

SP Gambo Isah, the command’s Public Relations Officer, disclosed this in a statement made available to Okay Nigeria on Wednesday.

Isah stated that the bandits stormed the two communities with 150 motorcycles around 6.10 p.m on Tuesday.

The armed bandits also carted away with number of animals alongside other valuable items, he further disclosed.

He then revealed that officers of the police were sent out immediately they were notified on the attacks.

In his words, “We will do everything possible to bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice and bringing to an end the activities of these rascals.”
