Army Recovers Another Borno Community From Boko Haram

The Nigerian Army has recovered another community in Borno State from Boko Haram.

The military announced on Thursday, March 4, that it had regained control of the Mafa area of the state.

“Troops are now in full control of Mafa, Borno State after completing the operation to clear terrorists from the town yesterday evening,” the Nigerian Defence Headquarters tweeted.

Troops had earlier recovered Baga in Borno State and 30 communities in Yobe State from the terrorists.
