Arsenal are set to complete the signing of William Saliba from St Étienne for €30million.

According to RMC reports, both parties have reached an agreement and the deal is expected to be announced soon.

The 18-year-old defender has already agreed a contract with the Premier League club, but he will spend the rest of 2019/2020 season on loan at St Étienne.

The French professional footballer played a vital role in helping the French club secure fourth place in Ligue 1.

Saliba is tipped to replace the club’s captain, Laurent Koscielny, who has just one year left on his current contract.

Meanwhile, Arsenal manager, Emery aims to strengthen his squad this summer, after finishing in fifth place in the Premier League table last campaign.
