Atiku Abubakar, Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP), has said he will grant amnesty to corrupt individuals willing to surrender their loot.

Atiku said made this known on The Candidates, a live television programme.

Kadaria Ahmed, the anchor of the programme, asked him: “Will you consider amnesty to people who have corruption cases and say bring some money and we will go on from there?”

Responding to the question, he said, “Why not? It worked for Turkey . We can implement that and I have considered it.”
