The African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA) and The Sterling One Foundation have announced the call for applications for the upcoming Africa Social Impact Summit (ASIS) 2023 Deal Room.
The deal room, to be held on August 11, 2023 in Lagos, provides a platform for promising African social enterprises to connect with impact investors.
Social enterprises creating measurable social or environmental impact are invited to apply for consideration to participate in the deal room.
The organizers are seeking innovative, revenue-generating businesses that have been operational for at least two years. Enterprises should have a clear social impact goal, an existing product or service, and be seeking minimum funding of $200,000.
Ideal participants operate in sectors like healthcare, agribusiness, renewable energy, e-commerce, Edutech, and financial services.
Eligible enterprises can apply on the website https://theimpactsummit.org/investees-registration by the deadline of July 19, 2023.
Applications will be vetted by the deal room committee based on criteria such as potential for impact, financial sustainability, innovation, and social value.
