Group CEO of RED | For Africa and co-founder of X-holdings, Ayodeji Razaq has been listed among Brand Communicator 35 under 35 marketing communication professionals. The award which is a new addition to the Brandcom Awards, celebrates growth drivers in the marketing industry.

Brandcom Awards honour the successes of illustrious marketing companies, advertising agencies, and noteworthy figures who have gone above and beyond to create an impact on the market. The award also recognises the unsung heroes in the Nigerian business climate who have honed their craft to build and lead brands. 

“To be considered as one worthy of honour in a field filled with brilliant minds is in itself a humbling experience. I extend my gratitude to Brand Communicator for the recognition of the work I have put into ensuring consistent productivity and organisational excellence over the years. This award is a call to young professionals in the marketing industry; a call to relentlessly push big ideas and the desire for change,” said Ayodeji.  

“It is important that we have bigger and better ideas flooding the Nigerian business space as we continue to position Nigeria as a stakeholder in the global marketing climate. With the calibre of talent we have, both recognised in this award and working behind the scenes, we are much closer to achieving increased significance,” he concluded.  

Ayodeji Razaq received the award alongside other distinguished industry leaders including Onyebuchi Allanah, Senior Brand Manager, Maltina; Anani Aidovhioghie, Group Head, Copy X3M Ideas; and Babatunde Adenuga, Group Head, Brand and Marketing Communications, FSDH group.  

Ayodeji Razaq is the Group CEO of RED | For Africa, the continent’s largest portfolio of media brands that leverages storytelling to drive agenda and build movements that excite and empower an evolving generation of Africans. He is the co-founder of X-holdings Group, a group of companies that includes an activation agency (Riquesa) and a digital, tech-driven marketing agency (Duo).  

Razaq is a marketing communications specialist with over a decade of experience in creating customised experiential solutions for brands across the FMCG, technology, manufacturing & financial services industries.
