Babachir Lawal, Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), was on Tuesday arraigned in court for 10 count charge filed against him.

Okay Nigeria recalls that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) filed fraud charges against the former SGF over diversion of funds meant for the clearing of evasive plants on the North East.

However, Babachir Lawal in court on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to a 10 count charge filed against him by the anti-graft agency.

Currently at Federal High Court in Abuja, Lawyers to Babachir Lawal and the defendants are presently arguing their application for bail before Justice Okeke.
