Armed bandits on Tuesday launched an attack on Kadisau town in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State.
According to reports, the attack claimed over 40 persons mainly the elderly, women, and children.
The report stated that the bandits stormed the community around 4:30 pm riding on several motorcycles.
A source was quoted in the report saying that security operatives came to the aid of the residents about three hours after the attackers had left at about 6:00 pm.
No details have been provided on the attack by the spokesman of the Katsina State Police Command, SP Gambo Isah when Okay.ng reached out.
