Jasper Cillessen has become Barcelona’s fifth summer signing after putting pen to paper on a five-year contract at the Nou Camp.
The goalkeeper has joined from Ajax for £12million and will compete for the No 1 spot with Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury.
Dutchman Cillessen confirmed the move on his newly-created Twitter account after completing his medical at the Spanish giants.
He started for Ajax in their Champions League play-off loss to Rostov on Wednesday before jetting off to Spain.
Cillessen’s arrival at the Nou Camp will see Claudio Bravo complete his switch to Manchester City in in a deal worth up to £17m.
