Bayelsa Government has planned a grand reception for President Jonathan as he leaves office tomorrow. Jonathan who will be returning to Bayelsa, Otueke his hometown will be received by the governor, his wife and top government officials, the Commissioner for Information has said.

According to him the president will be received at the Government house and would be hosted to a civic reception later in the evening at Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre in Yenagoa.

“The president will then proceed to his hometown in Otuoke, where he will be received by chiefs and his kinsmen’’, he said.

On May 30, an inter denominational thanksgiving service will also be organised at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Yenagoa, after which the president will be hosted to a state luncheon at the banquet hall again in Yenagoa.
