Bayelsa State governor-elect, David Lyon, is currently in a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in Abuja.

Okay.ng understands that Lyon arrived the Presidential Villa alongside the Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship campaign, Mohammed Badaru; Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu and the Minister of State for Petroleum, Timipre Silver.

Lyon had polled a total of 352,552 votes to defeat his closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Duoye Diri, who scored 143,172 votes, to emerge, winner of the November 16 governorship election in the Bayelsa State.
