Billionaire businessman Chen Zhi has been extradited from Cambodia to China following his arrest for allegedly masterminding a multi-billion dollar global cryptocurrency fraud operation.

Chen is accused of leading a criminal network that utilized trafficked workers in forced labor camps to swindle victims worldwide.

Okay News reports that Cambodian authorities have also shut down Prince Bank and revoked Chen’s citizenship following his capture on January 6.

This follows the previous seizure of $15 billion in Bitcoin by U.S. officials and heavy sanctions from the U.K. Chinese state media confirmed Chen is now in custody facing charges of fraud and money laundering.
