Black Coffee has  won the Best International Act, Africa category at the 2016 BET Awards.

The South African DJ and record producer beat competition from Wizkid, Yemi Alade, MzVee, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Diamond Platnumz and Serge Beynaud at  the presentation  done ahead of the main event which will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, on Sunday, June 26.
