The body of man who jumped into Lagos Lagoon on Sunday evening has been found, Channels TV reports.

A man identified simply as Orji had on Sunday evening jumped into the Lagos Lagoon after being driven to the Third Mainland bridge by his driver.

Mr. Orji, identified as a medical doctor, reportedly ordered his driver to pull over, dropped off his Nissan SUV car with regstration number LND 476 EE and jumped into the lagoon.

A police source told Punch correspondent that Allwell’s mother had been contacted to come for the identification of the body.

“The body of the doctor was found at about 11.30am. We want to be double sure and his parent has been called to come and identify the body,” the source said.
