The Defence Headquarters has issued an alert to the general public against falling victim of the new antics of members of the Boko Haram terror group.

According to a Friday statement by the Defence spokesman, Brigadier General Rabe Abubakar, the Boko Haram members now disguise as mad people to perpetrate their dastardly acts of terror.

He said that the devious antic had already been used by the terrorists in carrying out terror attacks in Gombi, Adamawa State and may be repeated in any other place.

Abubakar warned Nigerians to beware of mad persons in crowded places, especially markets.

“It is true that the incident happened. The general public should be aware of the new tactics of the Boko Haram members who have devised another strange method of disguising as mad people in order to carry out their heinous acts against the citizens. Nigeria should be wary of mad persons in markets and crowded places,” he said.
