Barely 24 hours after a suicide bomber suspected to be a Boko Haram member detonated an improvise explosive device, IED in a mosque in Sulimanti ward of Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, another heavy explosion has rocked the busy Musa Usman Secretariat main Gate in the state capital.

About two persons were feared dead with scores injured in the fresh attack which happened at about 11:40am on Thursday.

Meanwhile, men of the Civilian JTF and by military troops have surrounded the area.
