Renowned Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, popularly known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has opened up about a recent life-saving kidney transplant, Okay.ng reports.

In a heartfelt post shared on his official X account on Tuesday, TG Omori revealed that his only brother donated a kidney to him, a gesture that has given him a second chance at life. The transplant took place on Monday, August 26, 2024.

“Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again,” TG Omori wrote, shedding light on the gravity of his health challenges.

Further sharing his recovery journey, the music director posted pictures on his Instagram story showing himself on a hospital bed, connected to oxygen. He captioned the images with a plea, “Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”
