President Muhammadu Buhari presents 2020 budget to National Assembly

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, October 8, presented a budget of N10.729 trillion for the 2020 fiscal year to the National Assembly.

Here is a breakdown for the 2020 budget to ministries.

Education: N48bn

Power: N127bn

Agriculture and Rural Devt: N83bn

Works and Housing: N262b

Transportation: N123bn

UBE: 112bn

Defence: N100bn

Zonal Intervention Projects: N100bn

Water Resources: N82bn

Niger Delta: 81bn

Buhari in his speech said N125 billion was allocated to the National Assembly while N110 billion was allocated to the Judiciary.
