Akinwumi Ambode has reportedly won the Lagos State All Progressives Congress, APC, gubernatorial ticket, according to Daily Post.
Ambode, 51, is a public finance management expert and accountant. He is said to have defeated prominent candidates including Tayo Ayinde, former Attorney-General, Olasupo Shasore, former Commissioner for Special Duties; Leke Pitan, Commissioner for Health, and others to win the ticket.
The party hasn’t made an official announcement about Ambode’s victory yet. But several reputable news sources are reporting the news.
