Details are still unclear but it’s been reported that a bomb explosion has occurred at a military base in Bassa Local Government area in Plateau State. The number of casualities is unknown at the moment but witnesses and a security source has confirmed the incident.
The bomb hit the Nigerian Army’s 3rd Armoured Division barracks at Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, at about 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.
This is many in the string of bomb blasts that have hit Plateau State over the past few years, the latest being a bomb blast at a bus station in February that killed 13, and injured 14. More details soon
