The #BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) group has commended the military over the success recorded in the fight against insurgency in the North East of the country.

Speaking during the sit-out of the group, yesterday, one of its members, Abubakar Yusuf, stated that the success recorded was a step in the right direction but urged the military to continue on its onslaught against the Boko Haram sect so as to rid the nation of the insurgents.

The group however stated that the fact that there was relative peace does not mean that the nation was free from insurgency as many of the members of the Boko Haram on the wanted list of the military were not yet apprehended.

The group also observed with concern the recent attacks by the Boko Haram sect on Cameroonian communities, and expressed its solidarity with the people of Cameroon.
