Buhari Calls Emir of Maradun Over Recent Killings in Zamfara

President Muhammadu Buhari has called their Emir of Maradun in Zamfara on phone over killings by bandits and cattle rustlers in the area.

okay News recalls that there was a protest in Zamfara were roads and entrance to the state was blocked by residence over frequent killings.

The president ha earlier released a press statement strongly condoling with the residence and also promised to make sure the killers are being brought to book.

In a telephone call he made to Alhaji Garba Mohammed Tambari, the Emir of Maradun in Zamfara State, President Buhari said he was extremely saddened by the loss of lives and destruction of property following the attacks.

He urged the Emir to console his people, and citizens in the entire state over “these heart-wrenching tragedies.”

He gave firm assurances that his administration will do everything it takes to secure the state and the nation in general, and will bring such attacks to an end.
