The nation’s capital, Abuja, will host a meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and top security officials on Monday to further assess and fortify the nation’s security system.

The President, who was originally supposed to dedicate the new Technology and Innovation Complex of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), will hear briefings from the security chiefs and comment on any points that require greater attention.

Alhaji Abdulmuminu Kabir Usman, the Emir of Katsina, was received by President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday evening after being released from the hospital.

President Buhari wished him good health and strength to carry on with the good work he is doing.

Buhari commended the Emir for his unwavering support of the government and tenacious lobbying for his subjects’ welfare.

The President was thanked by the Emir for supporting his medical care and rehabilitation, and he was wished a prosperous conclusion to his term in office.

He assured the President that the people of Katsina would support him in his attempts to find answers to the issues threatening the wellbeing of the country and its citizens.

The Emir had spent a few weeks away from his people seeking medical attention.
