President Muhammadu Buhari has demanded from his cabinet members reports of milestones reached, the minister of information has said.

The ministers have been using the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meetings as a platform to give reports on their spendings and progress.

“ministers are to explain how far they have gone with execution of projects for which their ministries had received funds,” Lai Mohammed told newsmen on Wednesday.

“This was aimed at ensuring transparency and accountability.”

According to him, the process was kickstarted by the minister of agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh.
