President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday honoured the former president Goodluck Jonathan and 43 other prominent Nigerians with service awards.
The event which took place at the Conference room of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was attended by 16 state governors, including Nyesom Wike of Rivers State; Senate President, Ahmad Lawan; Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and service chiefs.
Some recipients of the award include Sadiya Umar Farouk, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development; Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers State; Gov Bala Mohammed, Bauchi State Governor; President of the Senate, Dr Ahmad Lawan; Speaker, House of Reps, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamilia; FIRS Boss, Muhammad Nami; MD, NNPC Plc, Mele kolo Kyari; the Service Chiefs and a host of others.
They were honoured with various awards for their services.
