On Thursday, October 10, social media reports emerged that President Muhammadu Buhari is getting married on Friday, October 11 (Today), to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq.
Reacting to this, Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, dispelled the viral claim that Buhari is getting a second wife.
He stressed that the rumour was a deceptive manoeuvre by those who fabricated the news, noting that the news was far from the truth.
